LASERS
Thick Metals Are No Problem! Precision Laser Cutting in Abbotsford
We craft metal products with precision. At our 75,000 square foot facility, Overlanders Manufacturing L.P. performs laser cutting using a 6kw fiber laser, plus a 4kw laser with an automated tower for lights out operation. The laser cells have a 5’ x 10’ sheet capacity with a cutting thickness capacity up to .625” steel plate.

NC PRESS BRAKES
Equipment Tough Enough for Thick Metal Forming/Bending in Abbotsford
Overlanders Manufacturing L.P. has 9 press brakes in our massive production warehouse of 75,000 square feet. Press brakes help us to bend metal sheet and plate with ease. Our 5 Accell presses incorporate ETS3000 controllers providing the latest in press brake technology. We have recently added 2 Safan 100ton fully electric press brakes that use substantially less power and produce parts up to 30% faster. We have also added a 4’ robotic bending cell that allows small parts to be completed without an operator.

Automated Metal Punching in Abbotsford
Creates Joint-Less Micro Parts
At Overlanders Manufacturing L.P., we house Turret presses with our 2048 and 2548 Motorums. The Motorum 2048 has a 41 station tool capacity and fully automated load/unload system capable of processing 48” x 96” sheets without repositioning. The 2548 model is capable of processing 60” x 120” sheets. It has a 44 station tool capacity including 1 vari-tool and 3 auto index stations. Both pieces of equipment are high speed machines capable of running lights out, which vastly increases our production and helps us improve our efficiency on a daily basis.
Our 2548 Motorum is equipped with a FG-1250 cell loader. The FG-1250 cell loader uses an advanced servo drive system to provide jointless micro parts production. Parts are automatically removed from the turret punch press and are stacked by the FG-1250, which can also sort the parts based on specific manufacturing needs. As each sheet completes processing the sheet skeleton is disposed of prior to the loading of the next sheet.
WELDING
Custom Metal Fabrication
Our full-service welding department performs MIG and TIG welding of steel, stainless steel, aluminum and titanium. In addition, we also have spot welding and stud welding equipment to meet your metal fabrication needs. We currently have 7 welding stations and have added a Yaskawa Robotic welding cell to weld high volume smaller parts without the need of a skilled welder.
