LASERS

We are excited to introduce our latest piece of equipment: the 6kW Fiber Laser with full automation – the Prima Power Laser Genius+ featuring PSR 2D (Parts Stacking Robot).
The Laser Genius+ is one of the smartest and most interconnected machines that Prima Power has ever produced. Equipped with new laser head sensors and advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, it offers cutting-edge monitoring and process control features. With Industry 4.0 capabilities, this machine enhances both performance and efficiency, ensuring precision and consistency across all projects.
The PSR 2D is a high-performance, automated picking solution that streamlines the 2D laser material flow. This solution allows the laser machine to operate at full capacity, enabling continuous picking in the third pallet without interrupting the cutting process. This allows us to achieve lights-out operation, ensuring your production runs around the clock with minimal downtime.
Additionally, the Laser Genius+ is capable of cutting up to 1-inch thick stainless steel, making it ideal for high-precision and demanding material cutting needs. With this enhanced cutting capability, we are able to tackle a wide range of projects, ensuring quality and efficiency every time.
Our laser cutting capabilities also feature a powerful 6kW fiber laser system designed for lights-out operation, supported by an automated tower for efficient material handling. This laser accommodates sheet sizes up to 5 feet by 10 feet and can cut steel plate up to 0.625 inches thick, enabling precise and reliable processing for a wide range of applications.

At Overlanders, we house Turret presses with our 2548 and 2558 Motorums. The Motorum 2548 is a versatile and high-speed turret punch press capable of processing large sheets up to 60” x 120” with precision and efficiency. It features a 44-station tool capacity, including one vari-tool and three auto-index stations, allowing for a wide range of tooling configurations to support complex punching operations. Designed for lights-out operation, this machine significantly boosts production capacity and contributes to daily operational efficiency.
Complementing the 2548 is the FG-1250 cell loader, an advanced automation system that enhances part handling and sorting. Utilizing a servo-driven mechanism, the FG-1250 enables jointless micro-part production by automatically removing finished components from the punch press and stacking them according to specific manufacturing requirements. As each sheet is completed, the skeleton is efficiently disposed of before the next sheet is loaded, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted workflow. Together, these systems provide a powerful solution for high-volume, precision-driven sheet metal fabrication.
The Motorum M2558 is a high-performance turret punch press designed to streamline sheet metal processing with speed, precision, and efficiency. Featuring a 44-station tool capacity and a fully automated load/unload system, it handles large sheets—up to 60” x 96” and 60” x 120”—without the need for repositioning, significantly reducing cycle times. With a punching capacity of up to 27.5 US tons, it can process mild steel up to 0.25” thick. The servo-electric punch drive system ensures high-speed operation while maintaining energy efficiency and reducing maintenance requirements. By integrating secondary processes such as bending, forming, and tapping, the M2558 minimizes setup time and boosts throughput, making it an ideal solution for high-volume, precision-driven manufacturing environments.
